The Story

A Better Way to Unlock the Last Plots.

Planning was granted for four identical four bedroom homes at The Nursery.

Mr and Mrs Rogers built and retained the two rear plots, and still live in one of them. At the ages of 62 and 60, they did not want to take on the debt or development risk of building the two remaining front plots themselves.

Each front plot was valued at around £350,000, and the plan was simply to sell them on. But selling to an outside builder meant a stranger working right beside their home, with no guarantee on the standard of the finish and no fixed timeframe for the work. This was still where they lived.

Option One stepped in with a better solution.

We removed the risk, delivered the build, and created a life changing outcome.

Rather than sell the plots to an outside builder, the Rogers let Option One fund and build Plot 2 at its own cost and risk, finished to the same high standard as the rest of the site and on a fixed timeframe. In exchange for Plot 1, they received the keys to a completed home worth £1,000,000, and never had a stranger building beside their home.
