Every one of these started with a landowner taking a chance on us. Here is what we built together.
We turn land into something that lasts. From the planning and the drawings right through to the last bit of finishing work, we handle every stage of it ourselves and we do it properly.
In the village of Bredhurst, Kent, Blackthorn House was our step up into the very top end of the market. Seven thousand square feet across three floors, and easily one of the finest homes we have built.
Downstairs there is an indoor pool, a jacuzzi, a gym, a sauna, a golf simulator and a bar. Upstairs the kitchen and living space open out through a beautifully made orangery with views across the countryside. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and built to be as efficient as it is good looking.
Bethany is where it all started. A modest bungalow in Walderslade Woods that turned into everything we do today.
This is the one that started it. Tucked away in Walderslade Woods, a modest bungalow became a five bedroom family home, and set the standard for everything that followed.
A big glazed front fills the living space with light, and the sloped plot that made it tricky was terraced into proper gardens. Bethany proved what a difference good design and careful work can make to even the humblest starting point.
This was an old equestrian site with a run down farmhouse on it, out in the Essex countryside. It is now five barn style homes that look like they belong there but live like new builds.
From knocking the old place down in May 2023 to the last of the landscaping in October 2024, the whole thing took under 18 months. The land went from being worth £700,000 to £1.3 million. That is an 85% jump.
It used to be a working abattoir. It is about to be five family homes. Hereford Farm in Brentwood shows just how far a site can come.
Over in Brentwood, Essex, Hereford Farm takes an old agricultural site and turns it into a small collection of modern family homes. Planning is approved and the work is under way.
Three four bedroom detached houses and two four bedroom semis, all designed to look sharp but actually work for a family. Black cladding, warm brickwork and pitched roofs give the whole row a proper identity. Not bad for a site that used to be an abattoir.
Once a place of growth and cultivation, now a sanctuary of refined living. The Nursery transforms a historic plant nursery in Kent into four bespoke luxury homes that honour the site’s heritage while embracing contemporary design.
Plenty of light, natural materials and details that have been properly thought about. The finishes are high spec and the homes are efficient to run as well as lovely to look at.
